KARACHI - The PML (Q) delegation led by its President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the CMs House on Sunday and discussed a number of issues including the current law and order situation in Karachi. PML (Q) Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Provincial President Ghous Bux, Senator Seemi Siddiqui, Aleem Adil Shaikh, Khan Bahadur Sher and others were also part of the delegation. Syed Qaim Ali Shah informed the delegation that the law and order situation in Karachi and generally in Sindh was under control. He said the government had taken measures to control the menace of target killings in the city with the consultation of its coalition partners MQM and ANP and these steps were yielding positive results. In reply to a query raised by the delegation about launching of an operation by Rangers, the Chief Minister clarified whatever was being reported about operation, recently launched by the Rangers in selected areas, was baseless and wrong.
