The fourth phase of the return of displaced persons to their homes continued on second day as more than 5000 families from the camps of Nawshehra, Swabi and Mardan are returning to Malakand today. Commissioner of Mardan Mohammed Khalid Umarzai talking to ARY NEWS said that the people from the areas on the right bank of Swat river and Kalam have been allowed to return back. The government has arranged transport for return of the displaced persons from eight places of Swabi district to their homes, he said. The officials said that 5300 families will leave for homes today under heavy security. A convoy comprising 587 people of 114 families set out to repatriate towards Malakand, Swat and Buner from Charsadda IDPs' camp, Sugar Mills camp and Palosa camp. DCO Charsadda Abdul Jabbar and Assistant Coordination Officer (SCO) bid farewell to the IDPs. Charsadda administration said to have sent back to their homes at least 1,38,000 people to Malakand Division while the repatriation of IDPs will be completed latest by August 25.
