Militants 'execute' six criminals in Aurakzai Agency

AURAKZAI AGENCY - Local Taliban shot dead at least six persons as punishment for their alleged involvement in criminal activities in Aurakzai Agency. The bullet-riddled bodies of ill-fate six persons were found near bazaar of Ghaljo town, headquarters of Upper Aurakzai Agency in early hours of Tuesday. The alleged Taliban had abducted nine persons, whom they dubbed as criminals, from different areas of Aurakzai Agency and shifted them to unknown location. The bodies of six of the abductees were sighted near Ghaljo bazaar on Tuesday morning. The victims have been identified as Sahar, Ghani Shah from Mamazai, Ghani Badshash, Iqbal, Ghani Ali Khel, while the identity of one dead could not be ascertained.It is worth mentioning that like other parts of tribal areas, authorities in Aurakzai Agency have failed to implement the writ of the government in the Agency. Couple of weeks ago, these mysterious Taliban had also abducted eight, they called them criminals, who later were shot dead in public. Online adds: three militants including their chief Khan Agha were killed and many others injured in a retaliatory attack of security forces in tehsil Mata here on Tuesday. Unknown militants attacked a convoy of security forces, cross firing between the militants and security forces started which ended after the death of a commander Khan Agha and two others Shahzad and Ghazi while a large number of militants were injured. The security forces imposed curfew in Mata for indefinite time. APP adds: complete shutter down was observed on Tuesday to condemn the brutal killing of eight kidnapped tribesmen in Sadda. All bazaars, educational institutions and other private institutions were remained closed as a protest to condemn the killing of eight tribesmen. The people have expressed grave concern over the killing of tribesmen of Turi Tribe in Sadda tehsil of the agency. The elders of both rival groups have strongly condemned the act and said that some terrorists were involved in disturbing law and order situation of the agency. They have demanded of the government to give exemplary punishment to the culprits involved in the incident.
