One person was killed and eight others injured during firing on Bajaur affectees protest demonstration in Nowshera. According to sources, clash erupted when Bajaur affectees of Jalozai camp hold protest demonstration for lack of facilities. Police suddenly started baton-charge on protestors that made them angry. The protestors in reply, hurled stones on police whereas police opened fire and used tear gas to dispersed the protestors. One person was killed and eight others injured during the clash. Two injured were reported in a critical state. The protestors made hostage three policemen who were later released after negotiations between administration and protestors. Protestors blamed police for the clash and said they were holding a peaceful demonstration when police opened fire on them.
