SWAT (NNI)- Some unidentified persons shot dead a local leader of PPP and a lady councillor on Monday in separate incidences. According to details, the local leader of PPP, Siraj-ud-Din was killed in Tehsil Kabal while lady councilor was killed in her house by unidentified men. On the other hand security forces pounded the suspected hideouts of militants overnight however, no casualty was reported. Staff reporter from Hangu adds:One Levies man was killed, when unknown armed persons attacked check post of Toor Bridge in the area of Tull, Hangu District, late Sunday night. The unknown persons attacked a joint check post of police and Levis near Toor Bridge on Sunday night 1:30 am, which resulted in killing of one Levis person, who was identified as Nadir. Sources said that the militants used heavy and small ammunition in the attack and fired eleven rockets on the check post. Meanwhile, heavy contingents of police and FC arrived at the site after the attack. The sources reported heavy exchange of firing between the forces and the militants. Moreover, in Orakzai Agency near Feroz Khel two rockets were fired from unknown direction on the house of Yaqoot Ullah and as a result the walls of his house were destroyed while no casualty was reported.
