Three children of a family in Misri Samoon have been reported to be affected by polio virus here the other day. As per details, three children namely Haji of 8 years, Ghafoor s/o Hashim Samoon of 11 years and Salma of 6 years in village Misri Samoon near Nokot have been affected by polio virus, doctors said. Parents of the children have described that their children are affected with the disease for the previous 3 years, they have visited Civil Hospital Mirpur Khas, Civil Hospital Badin, Mithi, Jhundoo and shown several other doctors who called it polio. Talking to the journalists, their mother was weeping and urging government Sindh to help them in this odd time because they have sold their cattle and jewelry for their children's treatment but to no avail.
