At least 1 FC official was martyred while another police personnel injured in militants attack on the Sir band Achinee cross police post at Peshawar on Monday. According to private TV, unknown militants attacked with heavy weapons in dark night on the Achinee cross check post situated on Sir band Bara road as a result an FC official was martyred and another injured, said the police sources. The injured police personnel has been admitted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar. After the attack the FC troops retaliated and after three hours exchange of firing the terrorists managed to flee. Police have started search operation in the nearby areas.
