UNIDENTIFIED armed persons kidnapped a doctor, who was supervising the polio campaign in Mohmand Agency along with his vehicle here on Sunday, reports BBC. According to political authorities in Mohmand Agency, the incident took place in the area of Ambar Tehsil on Saturday evening when the Polio Monitoring Officer Dr Shahid came there to monitor the campaign. Dr Waheed Khan of API Provincial Programme in Pashawar has confirmed that some unidentified persons have abducted Shahid and taken him to an unidentified place. But no one has claimed the responsibility of the incident yet, he added.
