Raja Zafarul Haq holds Musharraf responsible for present US-Pak crisis

Chairman of PML-N Raja Zafarul Haq has rejected the allegations leveled by the US about contacts between the ISI and Haqqani network and held former President Pervez Musharraf for the present tension between the two countries. In an interview with a private TV channel the veteran politician said the former dictator caused immense loss to Pakistan's interests. He was of the view that the US can challenge the sovereignty of Pakistan and realizing the seriousness of the situation the government and the military leadership must devise a concrete strategy. Raja Zafarul Haq said if the former ruler had taken care of the interests of Pakistan after 9/11, the situation would have been different today. He was of the view that the present government has no capacity to deal with the situation and feared that the situation could worsen.
