Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani to resign as Senator

Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani, the bother of Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani and the provincial president of PPP, has resolved resigning as the member of Senate and as the president of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Baliochistan, a private TV reported late on Sunday. Lashkari Raisani said, I have struggled for the revival of the concept of Islamic Socialism in Balochistan while I have been entirely failed in rendering my services to the public of my province in this connection therefore on this, I do not deserve to remain senator as well as president PPP Balochistan any longer. He was of the view; I could not serve the people of Balochistan for last 18 months. Subsequently, I can not serve the people of my province in future too so I have lost right to remain Senator any more. This is wholly solely my own decision and I have not sought ratification of my brother CM Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani in this wake and I will formally present my resignation before Senate in a couple of days, he made clear. Some government officials in Islamabad are still following the policies of former government, he eventually revealed.
