JUI-F had summoned the meeting of party lawmakers at the Parliament Lodges on Monday to mull over the Pakistan People's Party's proposed constitutional package but owing to non-availability of draft, the meeting was concluded with no solid announcement. JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who had arrived here to chair the meeting, while talking to the media persons said that he was unable to comment over the proposed constitutional package unless he had gone through its contents. He said that PPP had promised to provide the full copy of the document to JUI-F. "So far the dialogue process started between the two parties haven't come to positive end," he noted. Fazl suggested that all parties should be involved in the process. "A Pakistan Democratic Alliance meeting should be convened under the chairmanship of Prime Minister so that coalition parties in the government may have same stance over the constitutional package," he observed. He said Parliament should have more powers for legislation that was vital to the supremacy of Parliament and everyone should cooperate for that.
