Director General Inter Service Public Relations Maj Gen Athar Abbas has said that terrorists who had taken over one of the buildings of the law enforcing agencies in Peshawar Cantt area did not come from outside they were under custody in the building. As per reports, a group of terrorists launched an attack on security forces at 6 a.m. and made hostage some of the security personnel present inside the building. The area where the incident occurred is located near the American Consulate, but police said that building was not the target of the attack. Talking to media Athar ABbas said that terrorists under custody in one of the law enforcing agencies building took hold of the building by over powering two security men. He said that some terrorists are still present inside the building and they are holding two security men hostage. He said that the building has been cordoned off from all sides and we are trying to resolve the issue and all resources are being used to secure the building. He said army is continuing surveillance of the building.
