QUETTA The Levies force took a Swiss citizen into custody for not having an NoC for travelling in the Loralai district of Balochistan on Sunday. Swiss citizen identified as Merko entered Balochistan from Iran and he wanted to go to Punjab by road through Loralai. Levies took him into custody for not having an NoC from the Home Department, Balochistan. He has been shifted to Quetta for necessary interrogation. Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Akbar Hussain Durrani told this scribe that the Swiss was travelling in those areas of the province where an NoC is necessary for any foreigner. He said the Swiss citizen, if cleared, would be sent to Punjab through an alternative route under proper security.
