In occupied Kashmir, the authorities booked two more civilians under draconian law, Public Safety Act for taking part in anti-India demonstrations. According to Kashmir Media Service, the civilians, Muhammad Ashraf Sofi, a baker by profession and Imtiyaz Ahmad Guroo, were arrested on Saturday evening from the market of Pampore town. "They were walking in the market when a heavy contingent of Special Operations Group (SOG) of Indian police and CRPF troopers arrested them," eyewitness told mediamen. They were taken to police station Pampore, wherefrom they were shifted to Kathua jail in Jammu. Police have arrested more than 70 youth from Pampore alone so far and many of them have been booked under the PSA. Meanwhile, paramilitary troopers and SOG personnel arrested at least four youth identified as Zahoor Ahmad Yatoo, Mohammad Ahsan Yatoo, Maqsood Subhan Yatoo and Setha Rashid Rather from Goshbug in Pattan after barging into the residential houses, thrashing the inmates and smashing the windowpanes. "Army and SOG personnel came to the village and went on rampage," Irshad Ahmad Yatoo, a local resident said.
