LHC Deputy Registrar arrested

LAHORE - Deputy Registrar of Lahore High Court, Mirza Abdul Hafeez was arrested at the hands of Anti Corruption Establishment due to his alleged involvement in making assets beyond declared means of income. A departmental inquiry was already underway against him before the LHC wherein he was also found guilty. The mater was later referred to ACE, which also looked into the allegations and found him guilty whereupon the ACE after seeking approval from the Chief Justice Lahore High Court took him into custody. The accused would be produced before the special court anti corruption on Thursday (today) for remand.
