Gilani calls for revisiting anti-terror laws

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that ineffective anti-terror laws were making it easy for suspects to get bails from courts. Speaking at National Assembly on Friday, he said that the terrorists resumed their activities immediately after getting bails from the courts. I dont want to allege the judiciary for the release of terror suspects, he said, calling on the Parliament to outline effective anti-terror laws that could prevent terror suspects from getting this relief. Islam is a religion of peace and does not allow violence; its a wrong notion being attached to Islam, the PM asserted.
