Bouquet throwing tradition replaced by flying feline?

MO
London-It’s the moment that has wedding guests clamouring to get in pole position. But this time, they might consider hanging back. Hordes of screaming women reach out for the bride’s bouquet - only to be met by a giant cat.
The scene is one of hundreds on Brides Throwing Cats blog, turning heart-warming tradition into warped hilarity. Using stock pictures and a touch of Photoshop, people from all over the world - from newlyweds to wedding photographers - have uploaded their own versions of the online trend.
Each image shows unmarried women undeterred by a hurtling tabby as they line up to catch the flowers to cast good luck on their own love life. The anonymous artist running the site describes himself as: ‘Just a guy from Australia that likes cats and Photoshop.’
He encourages viewers to join in, using the mathematical formula: (Bride - Bouquet + Cat) * Photoshop = Brides Throwing Cats. Uploading each artwork, he narrates the peculiar scene.
One captures a comically subdued scene in which the guests look less than excited by the oncoming flowers - or, in this case, kitten. The site manager writes: ‘An uninterested audience waits for this tabby cat to drop to the floor. Awkward.’
One more complicated manoeuvre is titled ‘The Two Cat Toss’, where the bride flings a tabby and a siamese kitten in opposite directions over her head.
To his readers, the site manager says: ‘First up, lets cover the basics - it’s not real. ‘Before you get your rage face on, let me say: I am honoured you think my photoshop skills are so realistic!
