Phone addict dragged after girlfriend snaps

DM Beijing - A fed-up girlfriend was forced to drag her boyfriend across a China subway by his cellphone after he refused to stop playing with his prized possession.
In images caught by fellow commuters the woman can be seen becoming increasingly frustrated with her beau, before dragging him off his seat and out the doors of the Beijing underground.
Even as the man is dragged through the doors, his eyes remained fixed on his iPhone.
Onlookers were stunned as the feud continued through the station, with the woman using the phone to drag her boyfriend along the ground.
At one point she presses her foot against his jaw to try and separate him from his smartphone, but he refuses to drop it.
She then drags him into another carriage. The incident was so heated that many speculated it was a stunt from a mobile phone company, but those who captured it on their phones were certain it was no set-up.
Witness Yuan Fang said: ‘If it was staged then I’d be surprised, I even saw one kid burst into tears as the couple were shouting at each other and she was trying to grab the phone off of him.’
Ms Feng said the woman had been walking in front of her boyfriend, who was going so slowly he risked being left on the train.
‘She just flipped out and tried to grab the phone off him and when that failed she had been
forced to drag him onto the carriage before the doors closed. She was shouting a lot and telling him to let go of the phone.’
She said although the incident looked ‘pretty violent at the start’, it seemed to become more ‘light-hearted’ as the woman eventually got her boyfriend on to the carriage.
