Rawalpindi-  A decision has been taken to replace the street lights with LED lights in the Rawalpindi Cantonment area. According to Cantonment Board sources, negotiations regarding this plan have been started with a Chinese company. 77 percent electricity will be saved through the project and installments will be paid from the saved money. These lights will come under the Cantonment Board’s property after the installments are paid in a period of five years.
