Rawalpindi- To overcome the shortage of staff, the Rawalpindi health department has decided to take the services of 500 volunteers in the city to ensure door-to-door anti-dengue campaign. The Rawalpindi administration is facing shortage of health workers and has decided to recruit more volunteers to help from their services who would work under the supervisions of experts. Upon the directives of the Punjab government, the city administration has started taking measures by employing the services of volunteers. These volunteers would carry out door to door anti-dengue campaign and would also spread awareness among the masses regarding taking precautionary measures in protection against the dengue. The volunteers will be working under the supervision of district health officer.
