SBP honours cyclists for noble cause

LAHORE - The team of eight cyclists, who are on a mission to develop awareness for sport, good health and war against drugs, left for Gujranwala Wednesday. DG Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Usman Anwar saw the cyclists off to their ultimate destiny Islamabad. The cyclists reached Lahore from Muzaffargarh on April 28. Before leaving for Gujranwala, the cyclists also had a meeting with Usman Anwar, who told them that the the SBP was doing its best to provide the youngster a proper platform to excel in different fields of life. “The PYF 2014 is part of the same plan during which the youth have shown to the world that they are the most disciplined nation,” he maintained. Later before seeing them off to Gujranwala, Usman Anwar gave souvenir to the cyclists.–Staff Reporter
