Pakistani squash players go down in international rankings

KARACHI- Pakistan’s top squash players faced a slump in their international rankings during July according to the rankings published by the Professional Squash Association (PSA).    

Nasir Iqbal, Pakistan’s only representative in the elite top 50 in July, fell ten places down from 43rd place to 53rd, leaving no Pakistani among the top fifty players.      

Farhan Zaman, who occupied the 56th spot, fell down by two places to 58th. Danish Atlas Khan slumped down nine places and he now occupies the 74th spot.

Khan’s elder brother and formerly holding Pakistan’s first position, Aamir Atlas Khan declined four places down to the 87th position. Dubai-based Pakistani squash player Khwaja Adil Maqbool also fell two places down and he now sits at the brink of Top-100 list.
