LAHORE - Service Club beat Apollo Club by six wickets and Model Town Greens beat Faran Sports by 25 runs to reach the quarter-finals of the 2nd Rahber Cup T20 Club Cricket Tournament here on Friday. Umair Saleem of Service Club and Saadullah Ghori of Model Town Greens were stars of the day. In the first match, Apollo Club, batting first, were all out for 123 in 19.5 overs. Salman Ali scored 41 and Ali Fawad 25. Rana Mansoor took 2-16, Imran Ali 2-18 and Fawad Bin Anees 2-21. In reply, Service Club achieved the target for the loss of four wickets in 17.3 overs. Umair Saleem made unbeaten 54 while Umair Shrif and Arshad Nadeem added 28 runs each. In the second match, Model Town Greens, batting first, score 159-6 in 20 overs while in reply, Faran Sports were all out for 134.–Staff Reporter
