Pak football needs quality instructors: PFF secretary

LAHORE Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)s Secretary General Lt. Col (retd) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi has stressed the need for quality coaches, instructors and referee assessors for the promotion of the game in the country. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the simultaneous-ran PFF Referee Instructor/Assessor and Coach Instructor Identification Course on Thursday. Ahmed said that the Instructors of coaches and referees play important role in football development. PFF Director Operation Wng Cmdr (r) Pervaiz Saeed Mir urged the participants to take the opportunity to develop themselves further. The future is in your own hands. You are the one who make, change and educate the referees and coaches and you have a big responsibility. The well-known Instructors/coordinators- Akhtar Mohiuddin (Coaching) and Salahuddin Awan (Refereeing) - were there to guide and educate you. There is no reason for you to not be the best. Make us and yourself proud in coming days, he said. The participants: Coach Section : Nasir Ismail, Zafar Iqbal (Karachi), Shahzad Anwar ( Sargodha), Gohar Zaman (Peshawar), Javed Soomro ( Hyderabad) Referee Section : Arif Siddique, Rauf Bari, Naveed Butt (Lahore), Mian Abdul Bari (Khanewal), Muhammad Iqbal Jr (Karachi), Muhammad Amin (Swat), Imtiaz Ali Shah (Peshawar) and Hidayat Ullah (Kohat).
