Inter-Media Cricket Tournament

ISLAMABAD - Samaa TV, Channel V, ATV, Rohi TV and Combined XI entered the quarterfinals of the Ufone Inter-Media Cricket Tournament organised by National Press Club Islamabad here at G-6 Cricket Ground on Wednesday night.
Prime Minister’s complaint cell chief coordinator Sadiq Sanjrani was the chief guest on the eight day of the tournament while NPC president Farooq Faisal Khan, organising committee secretary Afzal Javed, NPC Sports Committee chairman Ayaz Akbar Yousafzai and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sadiq Sanjrani lauded the efforts of National Press Club for organising healthy activities for the journalist community and also shown his full support to organise such activities in future too. He also announced Rs two million for National Press Club and a cash of Rs 20,000 from his pocket.
Earlier in first pre-quarterfinal round matched, Channel V beat Sindi Media XI by 19 runs, Combined XI beat Daily Nawai-i-Waqt by 40 runs, Rohi TV thrashed Online by nine wickets, ATV outclassed Waqt TV by 20 runs and Samaa TV thrashed Daily Samaa by 58 runs.
