Pakistan Cricket Board has announced 16-member Test team that will play against South Africa. Middle order batsman Misbah-ul-Haq has been named the new captain of the Test team. Shahid Afridi has been retained the limited-overs captain of Pakistan. Opening batsman Taufiq Umar and fast bowler Sohail Tanvir have returned to the team after four and three years respectively. The team comprises of Misbah-ul-Haq (Capt), Imran Farhat, Taufiq Umar, Asad Shafiq, Muhammad Yousuf, Umar Akmal, Azhar Ali, Saeed Ajmal, Danish Kaneria, Abdur Rehman, Zulqarnain Hyder, Umar Gul, Tanvir Ahmed, Mohammed Sami, Wahab Riaz and Sohail Tanvir. Fast bowler Sohail Tanvir will be included in the squad after passing fitness test, the board sources said.
