ISLAMABAD - Kashif Majeed and Wajid Ali put East Zone in driving seat against Gilgit/Baltisitan in the Senior Regional Inter-district Tournament 2013-14 match here at Marghzar Cricket Ground. East Zone scored 365-5 in 79 overs. Kashif Majeed played brilliantly and slammed unbeaten 144 runs studied with 14 boundaries and one six. He was ably supported by Salman Haider who contributed imported 55 runs hitting nine fours. Aqdas Nasim also batted well and added 46. Earlier after winning the toss, Gilgit/Baltistan decided to bat first. They were bowled out for 215 in 76.2 overs. Asad Ullah was top scorer with 90 runs with the help of 16 fours while Tariq Mahmood added 29. Wajid Ali ripped through Gilgit/Baltistan batting by grabbing 5-54 while Abdul Basit took 2-61. –Staff Reporter
