LAHORE - The 9th Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Super Series Cricket Tournament will commence here today (Saturday). The players appearing in event belong to different financial institutions. Young cricketing talent, hired by banks, is also featuring in the tournament. The finalists of each region and previous year’s finalists are participating in the super series which is being held here. The matches will be played at three various cricket grounds of the city and the final will be held on February 18 at Bagh-e-Jinnah cricket ground. Governor State Bank of Pakistan Yaseen Anwar will be the chief guest at the final. This tournament is in continuation of the SBP Governor Cup held at five different regions including Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi.
