ACP holds climbing events

ISLAMABAD - The Adventure Club Pakistan (ACP) organised ‘Inspiring Change’ event to mark International Women Day 2014. The club has produced quality male and female climbers who have won national championships and represented the country in international events. A total of 97 teams participated from various parts of the country during the two-day event. Tayyab Syed, a seasoned climber and an adventure & tourism expert, conducted the competition as head of technical jury. Thrilling competitions were conducted in various categories including U-12, U-15, U-18 and 18 plus. The awards ceremony held at Ibex Club where guests of honours Education Advisor USEFP Shanza Qureshi and DG Sports Board - Gilgit Baltistan M Ajmal Bhatti distributed shields and certificates among the positions holders.–Staff Reporter
