CFP elects new office bearers

LAHORE (PR) - In accordance with the national sports policy and in view of the Supreme Court decision, the Chess Federation of Pakistan (CFP) has held its elections for new office bearers here in the city.
Abdus Salim from KPK was elected as the CFP president while Dr Naeem Hamid Mirza from Punjab was elected as secretary. Aziz Khan from Balochistan also got elected as senior vice president along with other office bearers for a term of four years. The new president and general secretary pledged their full effort and devotion for the promotion of sport in the country and thanked all the participants for their support in holding the elections in a fair and transparent way.
