LAHORE – The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Limited (PPCBL) has defatted Model Town Club by 66 runs in the match played here at the Race Course ground.
Brilliant century by Luqman Butt and equally good batting display by M Waqas were the main features of the match.
Batting first, PPCBL made 269 runs for the loss of 35 overs. Luqman Butt played smashing innings of 115 runs while M Waqas made unbeaten 80. Hamza Mubeen added 31. Saadullah Khan got one wicket.
In reply, Model Town Club could manage 203 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted overs. Aitzaz made 57 while Mubashar added 31.
Bilawal Rana took two wickets while Wahab Dar and Gul Khan got one wicket each.
