CAA extends support to SFP


ISLAMABAD - Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)’s coordinator for ski affairs Obaidur Rehman Abbasi met with Ski Federation of Pakistan (SFP) president Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari here at Air Headquarters on Monday. Abbasi presented a cheque of Rs 1 million to the SFP chief as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between the CAA and the SFP. According to the MoU, the CAA will pay Rs 500,000 to the SFP each year for ski training and educational expenditures of five children of Naltar, Gilgit. The SFP chief lauded the efforts of the CAA and also urged other departments to follow suit of the CAA and fulfill their responsibility towards the youth of underprivileged areas. “With the support of the CAA, the SFP will continue its efforts for the promotion of skiing in the country.”–Staff Reporter
