Quaid-e-Azam Trophy sixth round

ISLAMABAD - Karachi Blues scored 254-8 in 78 overs on close of play against Rawalpindi in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2013-2014 sixth round Group-I match here at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on Friday. For Karachi, Abdul Jabbar smashed 85, Naveed Khan 48 and Faraz Ahmed unbeaten 37. Tayyab and Nasir took three wickets each while Baber Naeem got 2-39. At Arbab Niaz Stadium Peshawar, Lahore Ravi were bowled out for 210 in 82.3 overs against Peshawar. Tanzeel Altaf scored 52, Jahangir Mirza 51 and Wahab Dar 40. Azizullah took 3-41 and Jibran Kahn 2-53. In Group-II match played at Diamond cricket ground, Faizan Riaz hit unbeaten 213 against Quetta to help Islamabad post massive 373-6 in 80 overs.
