Netball coaching course third session gets underway

LAHORE The third session of the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) Netball Coaching and Tournament Program started here at Post Graduate College for Women Wahdat Road, Lahore from April 13 to 15 Mudassar Arain, Secretary General PNF, the programme is being organised by the federation in collaboration with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) & Punjab Netball Association. Syed Shahryar Ali, Executive Director, Treet Corporation, Lahore will be chief guest in closing ceremony and distribute the prizes. Beside this program the about 400 female players and 35 sports teachers-coaches also participated in course from different schools-colleges-/units. The netball poles, bibs, literature, t-shirts & balls were handed over to Ms. Sadia, Secretary, Lahore Netball Association which provided by Australian Sports Commission and Pakistan Netball Federation. The final match will also played on April 15 at Post Graduate College for Women, Wahdat Road, Lahore Results: 1st quarter-final: LGS Shah Jamal beat Beacon House (Canal Campus O-level) by 4-2 Goals. 2nd quarter-final: 55-Netball Club beat Beacon House (Canal Campus A-level) by 9-0 Goals. 3rd quarter-final: Beacon House (Liberty Campus A-level) beat LGS 55 Main by 5-2 Goals. 4th quarter-final: Beacon House (Liberty Campus O-level) beat Lahore Alma school by 10-0 Goals in all 12 netball teams are participating in this program while Khalid Parviaz, Yasir, Maqbool, Ahmed, Kamran Malik, Umer Farooq, Farhan Ali, Javed Shah, Adeel Khan, Shoaib & Mohsin supervised the all matches. The first semi final will be played between Beacon House Liberty (A-level) and Beacon House Liberty (O-level) teams. Second semi final Match will be played between 55-Netball Club and LGS 55-Main Lahore.
