LAHORE - Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dr Noor M Murad pointed out that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has extended such a big support that they were not even expecting and hoped it would maintain the same help in future too.
Talking to this scribe, Dr Noor said: “The PCB has be the only cricket board in the region that has given the ACB such a support by allowing to use its facilities and also made their top cricketers available to play against his team.”
He said they were expecting similar support from India but they did not provided any kind of help. “India is one of the biggest forces in international cricket but they did not give any help. The role which they should have played in Afghanistan cricket development was not there to take,” he said. “The PCB has always been of great help in Afghan cricket development and I hope the same would remain intact.”
He also thanked the PCB chairman Zaka for all the PCB did in Afghanistan cricket’s development. Speaking about security in Pakistan, Noor said they were free to move around and there was no issue of security in Pakistan and the foreign countries should break the isolation and revive cricket in Pakistan. The PCB also assured the ACB COO all the basic faculties they would be required in the future in order to boost their cricket.
