AHF honours Zaib-un-Nisa

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Pakistan hockey judge Zaib-un-Nisa has become the first woman in the Pakistan womens hockey history after being nominated as judge by the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) for the Junior Girls Asian Cup Qualifying round to be held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will be held from June 4 to 12 this year. The AHF has asked Ms Zaib for an NOC from the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF). Before this assignment, she also had an opportunity to participate in the FIH-AHF coaching course in 2004 in New Delhi, India. She was assistant coach of the Pakistan womens national team during the 2006 Asian Qualifying Round in Malaysia. She was technical official of the 2nd Girls Junior Asia Cup 2009 in Shanghai, China. I am thankful to PHF President Qasim Zia and Secretary General M Asif Bajwa who always promoted the game and believing in me. I am looking forward to prove myself for the assignment in Bangkok after getting NOC from PHF, Zaib said.
