Players asked not to bother about IPL

ISLAMABAD - Former Test cricketer Wajahatullah Wasti on Wednesday advised Pakistani players not to be bothered about playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) being played in UAE. Wasti said the players should boycott the IPL, even if they got a chance to play. They all were of high profile and should keep self-respect in view. Wasti said currently India was undergoing through election process. The Pakistani players might get a chance to participate in the IPL when the new government would come into power there, he added. Former fast bowler Sarfraz Nawaz said it was better for Pakistani players not to get a chance to participate in the IPL due to security reasons. "Our players are world class cricketers and none of those playing in the IPL are better than them," he added.–APP
