Razzaq, Hafeez do the job for Pakistan

COLOMBO (Agencies) - Rarely have Abdul Razzaq and Hafeez attracted attention or created much fuss unlike some of their teammates while going about their routines in uncompromising fashion, on the field or off it. Though its not like the duo have really set the world or the World Cup on fire so far, their minor yet crucial contributions with both facets of their cricket too have either been ignored or been overwhelmingly overshadowed by the performances of their more illustrious team mates. Still only 31, Razzaq seems to have been around forever in Pakistan cricket he is into his 15th year in international cricket. The 30-year-old Hafeez, having made his international debut in 2003, too has been in the mix long enough to deserve a 'seasoned campaigner tag. But never have they managed to establish a settled place in the line-up for any considerable period of time. Neither has ever been touted being anywhere close to a poster-boy. Considering their lack of significant talent, possessed by some of their colleagues, it is unlikely that they ever will be.
