ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal will play his first round match against local hero and number 4 seed Max Lee in the Hong Kong Football Club $25,000 Squash Championship today (Wednesday). Nasir is although unseeded in the event but was given direct entry into the main round by the organisers. “I have completely recovered from injuries. I had undergone through excessive training during the camp established by Pakistan Squash Federation at Mushaf Ali Mir Squash Complex and I am quite confident I would perform better in the event which would also help me in preparing for the most important Asian Senior Team Squash Championship where Pakistan are the defending champions. It had put extra pressure, but I am fully prepared for the task ahead,” Nasir said.–Staff Reporter
