LAKKI MARWAT- Frontier Region Lakki Assistant Political Agent Fahad Wazir distributed sports equipment among the tribal players at a ceremony held in the sports complex Tajazai on Wednesday. The Fata Secretariat Programme (FSP) provided the sports kits for tribal youths to enable them to take part in sports and other healthy activities. The event was attended by FSP officials including Irfan, Imran and Azmat, agency sports officer Noorullah Khan and district sports officer Shafqatullah.  Fahad Wazir distributed sports kits among the players who would participate in the Third Khushal Cricket Tournament organised by Fata Secretariat Programme. On the occasion, he said that sports activities would contribute to peace and help eliminate militancy.  "The tribal youths should come forward to defeat terrorism by participating in games instead of brandishing/holding guns." The APA said the frontier tribal region was full of talent in the field of sports and the political administration would provide opportunities to the youths to take part in sports and other healthy activities.  FSP official Irfan called upon the youths to exhibit sportsman spirit to brighten the name of Lakki frontier region in the fields of sports and games. –Ghulam Mursalin
