LAHORE – FIFA president JS Blatter has appreciated Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) for the continuation of its fruitful efforts for the development of football in Pakistan. He said this during a meeting with PFF chief Fasial Saleh Hayat on the side-lines of the FIFA strategic committee held on Friday in Marrakesh, Morocco. “Pakistan is very prominent among the emerging football nations in the Asia,” he said and praised the present regime of the PFF for taking number of steps and introducing a number of reforms for better growth of football in Pakistan. He said he was very excited when Pakistan was awarded AFC ‘Aspiring’ MA Award of the Year 2013 in November in his presence which was a strong indication of sincere struggle of the PFF chief for the development of football in Pakistan.–Staff Reporter
