LAHORE - Wapda won the Police Kabaddi Gold Cup Tournament beating Police in the final held here at the Wrestling Stadium, Iqbal Park Sports Complex. Wapda secured 56 points as against 32 got by the runners-up Police. Pakistan Air Force was placed third in the tournament. CCPO Lahore Pervaiz Rathore was the chief guest of the opening ceremony while IG Punjab Shaukat Javed the guest of honour of the closing ceremony and gave away the prizes among the winners of the tournament, which was participated by eight teams of the country including Wapda, Police, Air Force, Railways, HEC, Punjab, NWFP and Pakistan Kabaddi Academy teams.
