LAHORE - The 34th Annual Sports Day of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School was celebrated in the school playground on Saturday. Chairman Lahore Board Dr Akram Kashmiri was the chief guest of the function. Secretary Crescent Educational Trust Zaheer A Sheikh, parents of the students and a large number of distinguished guests attended the function. The function started with the band display after the Talawat-e-Quran. Pak sack race, dribbling race, skipping race, kangaroo race, skooty race and potato race were the most prominent events of the day. Gymnastic events, judo karate and PT display got maximum applause from the audience. In his welcome address, Principal of Crescent Model Higher Secondary School Muhammad Shakoor congratulted the participants and thanked the parents and guests for being there to witness the performances in different competitions of their children. He also thanked the chief guest for coming to the function and introduced him with the elite and audience those were invited to witness the events. He also mentioned the schedule of various indoor and outdoor games being trained and coached at various levels here at Crescent Model School. In his address the chief guest highly appreciated the facilities of sports and games, which are provided here at the school. The whole function was highly disciplined and it displayed the commendable efforts of the students and their trainers. The chief guest congratulated all the staff, DPEs and the administration for their great efforts for the successful function. In the end, he gave away the prizes and trophies to the winners of various categories.
