Separate ground for females promised

RAWALPINDI - Member National Assembly (MNA) Malik Ibrar Ahmed, who was also the divisional convener of Punjab Youth Festival (PYF) Rawalpindi, promised to talk with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and urge him to allocate a separate ground for female players. Talking to The Nation, Ibrar said: “I am quite impressed to watch such a talent in our female players. Despite at such young age, they are displaying some wonderful skills and if provided with an opportunity to train alongside professional coaches, they would more than capable of winning laurels at international stage. It is my promise I would take up the issue with the Punjab CM and I am quite confident, he would not disappoint me and allocate a piece of land especially for female players,” he concluded.–Staff Reporter
