LAHORE - Reza Said and Nauman uddin Haider of Lahore Gymkhana emerged as the front runners at the end of the second round by upstaging the overnight leaders Rashid Akbar and Dr Dildar Hussain in the 54-holes, three-day 30th Millat Tractors Governors Cup Golf Championship here at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course. Both Reza Said and Nauman Haider played exceptionally in the second round and left behind the first day’s leaders Rashid and Dildar. In the race for honors in gross section, M Rehman of Royal Palm is the leader with an aggregate gross score of 148 for two rounds. Two strokes behind him is Salman Jehangir at 150 and Mohsen Zafar is placed at a score of 156. Today (Sunday) is the final day while Punjab chief secretary Naveed Akram Cheema will be the chief guest at the prize distribution.–Staff Reporter
