ISLAMABAD - The Nation/Jehan Pakistan Combined XI will take on Nai Baat in the PTCL Inter-Media Cricket Tournament 2014 quarterfinals here at the G-6 ground today (Saturday). The Nation/Jehan Pakistan thrashed NNI by seven wickets while Nai Baat beat Daily Express by 17 runs to qualify for the quarterfinals. In the first match, superb bowling by Afzal Javed and Naeem Ansari, who took wickets each, restricted NNI to 83-7 in eight overs. The Nation/Jehan Pakistan achieved the target in the seventh over losing three wickets. Afzal made 25 and Nafees Sarfraz 23. In the second match, Nai Baat, batting first, made 92-8 and in reply, Daily Express could make only 75-6. Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) president Shaban Khalid was the chief guest on the occasion.–Staff Reporter
