ISLAMABAD - Ahmed Murad clinched the Islamabad Tennis Complex monthly Tennis League by defeating Mohsin Khan 6-4, 7-5 in the final on Monday.
A total of 32 players participated in the two-day matches played here at Islamabad Tennis Complex. Ahmed broke Mohsin in the sixth game of the first set and went on to take the first set 6-4. The second set was a see saw battle as both the players managed to cling on to their respective serves. Ahmed finally managed to break Mohsin and take the set 7-5, thus won the game 6-4, 7-5.
Former Pakistan Davis Cup team coach Fazle Subhan was the chief guest on the prize distribution ceremony and distributed shields and certificates among the players.
