ISLAMABAD - Al-Faisal Club thrashed Ali Club by 6-1 in the final to lift the Akbar Memorial Floodlit Football Tournament title played here at G-8/4 ground.
Ali and Abbasi scored two goals each while Yasir and Kashi scored one goal each for winning team and alone goal was scored by Ali for loser team. Pakistan Baitul Mal Managing Director Barrister Abid Waheed Sheikh was the chief guest at the occasion and distributed trophies among the winners. Waheed Sheikh announced Rs 5,000 each for the winning team players and Rs 2,000 each for runner-up team players.
Akbar Club president Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari, Islamabad Football Association secretary M Zaman, RDFA vice president Chacha Saeed, Pakistan Football Federation (PTF) former information secretary Rana Tanveer Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
