ISLAMABAD - Punjab College for Women lifted the Inter-collegiate Girls Cricket Tournament after defeating Government College for Women Dhoke Ratta by eight wickets in the final here at Satellite Town cricket ground. Batting first, Dhoke Ratta scored 46-3 in the allotted eight overs. Wajiha took all the three wickets. In reply, Punjab College achieved the target in only 4.1 overs losing two of their wickets. Ayesha made unbeaten 17. Wajiha was named player of the final. Earlier in the first semifinal, Punjab College beat Dhoke Hassu by six runs while in the second, Dhoke Ratta beat Government Islamia GHSS Jhelum by 10 wickets. Punjab Group of Colleges Director M Akram Chaudhry and director sports Hafiz Aslam congratulated the team on their title victory.–Staff Reporter
