Aliya, Sidra bat Lahore to win

ISLAMABAD - Aliya Riaz and Sidra Amin’s superb unbeaten tons guided Lahore to crushing 320-run victory over Multan in the 9th Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah National Women Cricket Championship Pool-B match at the Marghazar cricket ground on Monday.
Batting first, Lahore posted a massive total of 375-2 on the board. Aliya hammered unbeaten 156 runs and Sidra contributed unbeaten 113. Abbottabbad, in reply, could manage to score 55-9 in 21.1 overs. Kanwal took 3-22 while Elizabeth and Iram took two wickets each.
Javeria Khan hammered blistering 161 to help Karachi thrash Hyderabad by 175 runs in the pool-A match here at Shalimar cricket ground. Hyderabad, batting first, posted massive 328-3 in 50 overs. Javeria Khan played a superb knock of 161 runs studied with 22 boundaries while Kainat Imtiaz contributed unbeaten 79. In reply, Hyderabad could manage to score 153-7. Sajiida Shah made 57. Maham and Shumaila took two wickets each.
In another Pool-A match played at Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi suffered second consecutive defeat in the event, as they were beaten by Sialkot Region. Rawalpindi girls bowled out for 95 in 39.4 overs with Badr-un-Nisa scoring 33. Nida Dar grabbed 4-21. In reply, Sialkot achieved the target for the loss of seven wickets. Zeba made 27 and Iram unbeaten 21. Naila Nazir took 3-13.
In another Pool-B match at National Cricket Ground, Islamabad suffered defeat against Multan. Islamabad made 149-9 with Huma scoring 31 and Maryam 26. Sania bagged 3-32 and Asmavia 2-31. In reply, Multan achieved the target in 32.4 overs losing six wickets. Asmavia made 27 and Sukhan 26. Anoshay took 2-32.
